Financial Support

The Tuition Centre is registered with Ofsted on the Voluntary Childcare Register. Being registered with Ofsted offers you peace of mind on quality and standard issues such as Health and Safety and Child Protection procedures. We hold certificates in Paediatric 1st Aid and our centre is very safe and secure, with all staff having an enhanced DBS (formally CRB) check.

Being Ofsted registered also means that many families are able to receive financial support with their tuition costs. There are different types of support you may qualify for to receive discount for tuition fees:

Working Tax credit

If you receive working tax credits, you may be able to claim as much as 70% of your tuition fee. For high quality tuition by our qualified teachers in a professionally equipped tuition centre, this is a very affordable benefit for your child!

To find out if you are eligible to claim working tax credits, call the Tax Credit Helpline on 0345 300 3900 or visit https://www.gov.uk/childcare-costs-for-tax-credits

Childcare Vouchers (CCV)

The Childcare Voucher amount you choose to deduct is taken off your salary before you pay tax and National Insurance. Therefore, you pay less tax and National Insurance as your pre-tax salary is reduced.

Many people qualify for Childcare Vouchers and don’t event know it. Usually parents only use CCV for children in nursery school but the great thing is that at The Tuition Centre, you can use them for children of all ages. To find out if you are eligible speak to your HR department – regardless of the size of your company, it is a scheme that all employers can register for. So even if you’re unsure, it’s definitely worth looking into.

Childcare Grants

The Childcare Grant is available to full-time students who have dependent children, and pays 85% of childcare costs throughout the year.

The grant is available to full-time students who are receiving or eligible for the student finance package, and can be used at The Tuition Centre.
